![]() ![]() There is a bar next door (same family owners) that also serves Mrs Rose's coffee. Can get beach towel from reception to take to the beach. Location is fantastic, right across the road from the beach. It was quite noisy sometimes with marble floors, traffic noise, banging doors, the hotel rooms could benefit from some sound proofing, but overall a basic hotel at a very affordable rate. We had rooms 209,211,213 and room 216 was on the pool side and was quite hot. ![]() Ask for a room on the partial sea view side to get a lovely breeze into your room. An easy walk to Parikia township which is also where the ferry port and bus termainal is, maybe 800 metres. Overall I would recommend for location but the hotel itself badly needs renovating !… The younger woman who worked in reception was so helpful and gave me advice on other Greek islands to visit. The Good: the balcony view is to die for and we got a beautiful sea breeze every morning. Each night we spent at least 5 minutes trying to get back into the hotel. The main entrance to the hotel was locked between 9pm-9am and it’s a very difficult lock to open. The main light in our room didn’t work and the shower door was broke and so the water leaked out every time. We found out at check out that we still had to pay which was unexpected as it was not mentioned before. She handed us our key and gave no information whatsoever. The not so good: We arrived late at night and were met with quite a rude older woman sitting at reception, my friend spoke in Greek to her but she chose to ignore. It is in a superb location, 1000m from the town and the port where you can take the ferry from. This is a hotel where you get what you pay for. Hotels near Church of Agios Nikolaos Thalassitis. ![]()
